The Alt Morenhoven truly has the best schnitzel in the region, if not North Rhine-Westphalia. Here the boss cooks herself and conjures up the best schnitzel and the tastiest french fries. My favorite: The cream schnitzel with the magic sauce and a whipped cream on top, it turns 'Schnitzeln' into a gourmet evening. And with it the wonderful side salad, it's good that my children don't eat one, then I'll have three. Cool thing! Number two of my favorites: the Jägerschnitzel, a classic with fresh mushrooms. Delicious! In addition, fine drinks at a moderate price. At the end of the day, everyone is always well satiated, and you don't forget the delicious taste ... I can only recommend all schnitzel. And the children of 'Uschi' are there to help. A real family business, old school. Greetings to Uschi and family.

If you would like to go to a "real" village pub with food, where the almost 80-year-old mother still cooks, you can only recommend Alt Morenhoven. Very balanced menu, food excellent (the schnitzel is still fried in the pan), with the portions you should stick to the senior portion, unless you are starved. Beverage selection also good, prices for food and drinks rather in the lower area, currywurst with fries for 5 € in the restaurant is really a bit too expensive. The service is very pleasant, but deduction of points due to the use of mouth and nose protection. There is still something and then there are 5 stars.

If you like Schnitzelgerichte, here is the right restaurant found. You have to bring a little time, but also gets everything freshly prepared. Very delicious is Uschi's special schnitzel baked with cheese. All dishes are very reasonably priced. You can really recommend this rustic village pub.

We had a nice evening, the food was delicious and very large portions! And who has not made it, the rest was packed! 👍👍👍By the reservation I was told that we need to bring time, but that was not so! Were friendly and courteous service. Always happy again!
